![]() Perhaps the most baffling aspect of "Cabin Fever 2" is the plot synopsis on the back of the DVD packaging. However, this isn't a compliment by any stretch of the imagination. The picture is, essentially, the "Superbad" of gore movies, complete with a smart-ass fat kid, dozens of sex-related jokes, and a fair amount of nudity. Although the film certainly has its good points, there's something not quite right about this bizarre little production. ![]() From what I gather, even "House of the Devil" director Ti West doesn't know what to make of his campy 2009 follow-up "Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever", which is never really a good sign. ![]() Nasty rumors about the supposedly lackluster sequel have been circulating for months, and to be perfectly honest, they're not too far off the mark. Cabin fever 2 movie#I've caught so much flack for loving this movie that I've actually grown physically tired of defending the damned thing. I vividly remember a fellow audience member asking her friend as they exited the cinema, "What was that all about? What was in that box? Did they say what was in that box?", a brutal confirmation that very few mainstream movie-goers were going to understand the cryptic humor of Roth's bloody masterpiece. I know I gave this movie a higher score than it's first film but don't worry we got Hostel Part I and Part II to take care of and can you blame me? I think it's because Eli Roth's original idea and style improved as they developed the sequel which is why I gave the first movie a 5/10 and this movie a 6/10 so I say this again, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever gets a 6/10.Eli Roth's highly underrated 2002 horror/comedy "Cabin Fever" has been a personal favorite of mine since my wife and I caught the film in theaters oh-so many years ago. That alone can give the movie it's big score! The only characters I really recognized were Rider Strong who played Paul the lead actor from the first movie gets killed off in the beginning of this film and Michael Bowen who you may remember from Kill Bill Vol.1. There's one scene where a girl showing her boobs out to the screen gives a guy a blow job in the toilet until he ejaculates and then spits that cum into the screen. A lot of sequels don't measure up but this one sure does. Now this film seems to be much more dark, edgy, gory and proceeds to have more eye candy as well and tries to follow the first and original film with respect. The movie takes place after where the first movie left off Bert's body dissolves blood into the reservoir and his infected blood flows into a water factory that makes a very popular water bottle brand for a high school where the whole high school gets infected during prom night. Now we take a look at it's sequel, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever. The movie was not so dark and gory even for adults but it did deliver plenty and it did have some good actors and lots of shots of eye-candy as well which I was very pleased with. The story was about a flesh-bleeding illness/disease that spread across the forest and tragically affecting five college graduates who rented a cabin and unaware of locals' past, they are affected by the virus from some man. It was first released in 2002 and gave us a very original idea. ![]() Hello there I'm Baurushan an today I'm going to talk about a very underrated and criticized movie directed by Eli Roth known as Cabin Fever. ![]()
